BUILDING LIGHTING GUIDELINES

Use the buildings most interesting architectural features as focal points.
Architectural features should be highlighted selectively.
When composing a lighting scheme, emphasize the base, middle, and top of a building facade equally.
Integrate fixtures and wiring into existing conditions offered by the architecuture.
Use colored light selectively.
Avoid fontal floodlighting.
Avoid condition that conribute to light trepass and glare.
The brightest is not the best.
Choose light sources carefully.
Use active light judiciously.
