BUILDING LIGHTING GUIDELINES
  • Use the buildings most interesting architectural features as focal points.
  • Architectural features should be highlighted selectively.
  • When composing a lighting scheme, emphasize the base, middle, and top of a building facade equally.
  • Integrate fixtures and wiring into existing conditions offered by the architecuture.
  • Use colored light selectively.
  • Avoid fontal floodlighting.
  • Avoid condition that conribute to light trepass and glare.
  • The brightest is not the best.
  • Choose light sources carefully.
  • Use active light judiciously.
