Sanitation Services provides garbage and recycling collection for approximately 200,000 households and apartment building with units of five or more. Apartment buildings have the option of receiving services from Sanitation for the full cost of service or from a private vendor.

Please submit your request online for the following services:

  • Missing or damaged garbage or recycling carts
  • Missed collection for garbage or recycling
  • Street and alley sweeping, snow plowing and icy road conditions
  • Vacant lot clean ups
  • Special collections, as follows:
    • Household items, more than 4 cubic yards - $50 charge
    • Construction debris, less than 2 cubic yards - $40 per cubic yard
    • Tires, less than 5
    • Brush, less than 4 cubic yards (Not collected during winter months.)
